On November 2, 2023, a session was held at the SBS D Forum to present the results to a joint research project between the Climate Tech Center and the SBS Cultural Foundation.

The first announcement was from the EDF Energy Transition Director, Mina Berkow.
Under the title 'Can technology save us?' she announced the importance of reducing greenhouse gases, including methane, and surveillance satellites for that purpose.
She also mentioned that in order to use hydrogen as an alternative energy, the methane problem must be solved.

The second announcement was from Mike Lim, partner of Singapore Venture Capital 'TRIREC'.
He introduced the global climate tech investment flow under the title of 'Venture Investor's Perspective: Climate Tech Investment, Is It at an Inflection Point?'
He explained that the climate tech market can develop more actively in the future with the help of technologies such as AI and machine learning.

The last presentation was made by Professor Jeong Soo-jong, a professor at SNU Graduate School of Environment and director of the Climate Tech Center, under the title 'Climate Tech, The Way Korea Should Go.'
Although Korea's climate tech market is still small compared to the global climate tech start-up market, it is said that it can sufficiently catch up with advanced countries if it finds a climate tech field that can lead based on the infrastructure of Korea.
Examples of leading fields include technology to capture greenhouse gases and convert to energy, and carbon accounting platforms using AI.

The presentation of the three speakers was enthusiastically received on the spot and made us feel that a lot of effort is needed to revitalize climate technology in Korea in the future.
